Question for the horror fanatics: is summer always such a big time for horror movies?

Going back to June, we've had The Watchers, A Quiet Place: Day One, MaXXXine, and Longlegs. And coming soon is Trap, Cuckoo, and the new Alien movie. Many of those were good, and all are high profile. To say nothing of the May releases, or smaller, limited/streaming releases.

Is this normal?

@auzzy @horror I think it’s normal now that horror has become the new blockbusters.

… Though here in Japan we don’t get them until about 9 months later 😑
