They’ll get a hard core fascist with Trump. With Biden they’ll get a fascist-lite. None of the offensive parts of fascism. Just the corruption and special interests dictating policy parts.

The US administration is so corrupt that it is hard to get anything useful done. Even if it is something that has been obvious for decades.

Not in the beginning. In the beginning it’s more about the economic side of fascism. And that has definitely happened in the US. For decades now.

Ukraine, Stalled on the Battlefield, Targets Russia’s Oil Industry (www.nytimes.com)

He was found guilty of insurrection in a state court. So that he can’t run for president. But then the federal supreme court decided that this particular provision of the constitution is not self executing. And the Congress must pass a law to find Trump ineligible to run. They didn’t comment on the insurrection part.

So Trump has been found guilty of insurrection and he can still run for president.

When I read stories like this, I think about another story about a bear whose bile was extracted for industrial use. The extraction is extremely painful for the animal. They’re kept harnessed to the extraction machinery. This particular bear managed to escape its harness. And the first thing it did was to kill its own cub. So that it wouldn’t have to suffer anymore. This happened in China by the way.
