I noticed that bell curves tend to present as 10-80-10 in humans.

I spotted that sexuality worked that way in high school. The 80 are bi.

People are revisiting that idea with morality, now that we have to put the nazis back in their fucking box. 80% of people can break either way.

So what about autism? Are we about 10%? That's plausible.

This begs the question, who are our opposites? Is there a pathology for purely social thinkers?

Anybody know how to log out on android?

I ended up creating a 2nd account trying to reply when i was new here, and kept each open in a tab.

I learned i'm not allowed to talk to a journalist when they bricked my computer. Now i'm stuck on a phone. I get occasional notifications from my other account, but can't get out of this one.

I'm on duckduckgo's browser, which i think is built on edge. Any better idwa than using another browser?

There's gotta be a way to log out.

Question:

Does anybody else skeeve over modern soap?

I hate the fact that it doesn't rinse off. I need second-soap to wash off the residue of first-soap. I don't want a bottle of detergent instead. I just want soap that doesn't leave me slimy.

Outside of north america, i've found bars of laundry soap that are awesome, but i'd have to make my own on the US and i imagine i'm too red-flagged to be allowed to buy lye.

Anybody rememberbthos? Far as i know, it's the first modern viral transmission. Cassette tapes copied and snail mailed around the country in the 300BAUD modem days. I found it in the cd bargain bin in the 90s. Some kids just put a mic on their neighbors.

I can see where i went wrong in life. I always was willing to do nothing rather than be misled into causing harm i didn't intend.

That is not an option. Anywhere in the world, far as i can tell, but definitely not in the US. Since reagan let them vulture capitalize the newspapers, it's been impossible to know what's going on. Being misled is our only option, and the harm is seriously snowballing.

It looks like i'll be kicking around a while. They destroyed my computer but left me my phone. I have a cry for help out in every law or legal @ i could find. Maybe i'll be allowed to live. By the time you hit a bully, he's already won. We use words, not violence.

Here's a great instructional video of how to win with words; outnumbered and on hostile territory. About 20 minutes, and Jon literally killed the show. It was gone in a month or two.

Use words now so we don't have to use bullets to put the nazis back in their box.

Hey. Feel free to ignore this, i am not your problem, but does anybody in the minneapolis/st paul area have a couch on which i could crash until march? I got defrauded and fought it, but they reversed the decision and emptied my checking account at the end of Nov. My disability check will put me in the black by Feb, and in March i'll be buying a bus ticket to go fail somewhere else.

I woke up today to someone angrily threatening his invisible phone while looking at me. Dude who sleeps next to me in the homeless shelter, and I think that was just him talking, but I had to come out of sleep ready to fight a crazy to the death. Hard to drop back off after that.

I bet most NTs would have had trouble interpreting this one, too. I picked up from later context he was discussing what he'd like to do to a kiddie diddler.

I have a number of question for people who report #aphantasia :

Do you daydream at all, and if you do, how does that work without visuals?

How does your memory work in general? Assuming you remember seeing things, being in places, meeting people, how does that work?

When you need to describe the appearance of something, how do you go about doing that? Do you plan ahead and memorize lists of features while the thing is in front of you?

Thanks! I’m trying to wrap my brain around this phenomenon I can’t experience myself so if you take some time to educate me I’ll be forever grateful.

This is a pretty trenchant analysis of where we are, but I see a deeper layer. I think I can see how we got here--people who understand how this stuff works made a conscious effort to bring the nation, and the world, to this state. It's called "movement conservativism", and predates the Southern Strategy. Think McCarthyism--there's been a generations-long project to create the world we live in today.

I have a really weird relationship with pain. Between ages 9&11 my gym teacher used to routinely dislocate my knees. This stung a bit. At 20, I had a rebleed of a SDH and experienced total mind-obliterating agony. So I do know pain.

Mostly, though, I don't feel it. The thing is...

When I do feel minor pains, like I'm relaxing with the woman I love and comfortable and something happens, I whine like a Skywalker. 1/
