What do you like about it?

Everything: I love writing bits and putting everything in the right order, I love the fact that there’s a lot of psychology involved, I love that you can watch something mundane from a different angle and suddenly it becomes hilarious, I love to make people laugh with topics that used to make them uncomfortable, I love that it taught me that you can always laugh about shit when it happens and I love that (with a little bit of self-inflicted discipline) puts my ADHD to good use.
I think it’s the perfect balance between insight and technique.

Do you get stage fright?

Back when I started, I used write “BREATHE” in big capital letters on my notes, so I would remember to do that while frantically reading and panicking before a set. Now that I’m more experienced I don’t get it as much, but there’s still a little bit of it, like a background noise. “Just enough to keep you focused” as a friend of mine says.
The cool thing is that it always goes away the very moment you start talking into the microphone.

I had quite the opposite experience: my last job was for a big company (800+ employees) I had a shitton of work with the downside of being extremely repetitive and alienating, just a small cog inside a huge machine.
Now it’s just me and my boss. Of course I’m a JOAT and I have more responsibilities, but that makes the work way less boring and I feel more appreciated for what I do every day. I earn a little more than before and I have the upside of having learned many new skills that make me a more valuable asset on the work market.
I’m aware that not all kinds of job allow you to do this, tho.

Agree, I’ve been lucky (and persistent) enough to end up in an asshole-less workplace.
As they say “job interviews are both sided” and the smaller the company is, the more relevant the person interviewing you is gonna be for that company: that’s a good litmus test for what your potential workplace is going to be. I turned down many offers from people I had the feeling (or proof) they could be assholes.

Joplin + Syncthing is great, as other people suggested.
I keep it even more simple: I write stuff in markdown, share my .md files with Syncthing and edit them with markdown editors.
The best I’ve tried so far for Android is Markor, while on Linux I either use Ghostwriter (on KDE) or Marker (on Gnome)

That anyone should be allowed to vote.
I mean, obviously I believe in democracy, don’t get me wrong… My idea is that you should have a chance to be allowed to vote. Like you have to at least pass a reading & comprehension test before you get like a voting license or something.
You don’t get to drive if you’re incapable to see the road, you don’t get to vote if you’re incapable to understand what a politician is saying to you.

Edit: I’m not from the USA, so I didn’t know that there was already something similar back then.
Still, I believe that basic comprehension is foundamental in the voting process and there should be a way to check it. Otherwise there is no failsafe to populism taking over
