Go ahead and live with dentures then. When your bottoms pop out every time you eat steak, remember what you said here. Teeth are absolutely essential. It’s cheaper to take care of your natural teeth than it is to drop 30k on implant-supported dentures, or if you’re broke, just basic ones.

Source: I work in the field. Bottom dentures are by far the most disappointing service we do.

Senator Warren calls out Apple for shutting down Beeper's 'iMessage to Android' solution (techcrunch.com)

Finally, some sanity. Just because it’s apple, doesn’t mean it’s okay to build a business model on piggybacking off their service. I know “apple bad” but I don’t get why people are defending Beeper.

Why is 60fps a big deal for games?

My background is in telecommunications (the technical side of video production), so I know that 30fps is (or was?) considered the standard for a lot of video. TV and movies don’t seem choppy when I watch them, so why does doubling the frame rate seem to matter so much when it comes to games? Reviewers mention it constantly,...

One part is that a higher frame rate has less latency. At 30fps, every frame comes in around 33ms. At 165fps, that delay is reduced to roughly 6ms.

The other simple answer is just the advantage of more visual data over time.

TLDR: I like it when the game’s motion is smooth
