As promised, the Cub in which I flew the most hours (I flew others): a 1977 photo of the 1952 Army L-18, a Piper Supercub (no flaps, Maule tailwheel, Continental 90 HP engine, 18 gal fuel tank in left wing root). Left outside to be destroyed by weather at the Army flying club that received all of our assets in 1992. Basically only the serial number tag left. If this were sitting at our current club, I wouldn't be writing this, I'd be out flying it.

@nina @autism101 @actuallyautistic Should add, some powered planes I flew were like bricks with power to idle, flaps down, gear down. Those you always wanted a close-in, high approach. You'd never make the runway otherwise for a power failure. In those, you could be extremely high almost on the numbers and still make the numbers. Example: Aerocommander 112.
