It would include carer allowance (not means tested, about 75$ week) carer allowance (up to about $500 a week if you aren’t working, or possibly less depending on how much you work.) We could go halves in rent or some other arrangement depending on your living circumstances.

By carer, I mean do some basics like throw some laundry in the wash, bring me food a few times a day (no need to cook, I’m eating ready meals), basic help.

Please ask around if anyone to see if anyone can help. The economy is busted. There surely must be someone with a spare room who can use the extra money I pay in rent/board and provide at least minimal care so can escape abuse.

Some #disability advocates I’ve been in contact with in the past have discriminated again me because am disabled (& have functional limitations).

What we’re they expecting? That’s why I need their help!

We don’t have enough people in the social welfare system and some that we do have are extremely dodgy (some are fantastic but they have years long waiting lists or charge unaffordable fees). Where does that leave people that need help? Where I am, if not worse.

If I wasn’t able to function enough to do admin, I‘d likely be dead by now. I think the govt wouldn’t mind one less ‘useless eater’.

This leaves me wondering what will happen if I can’t do basic admin at some stage.

(When I say admin - roughly 10 emails, replies, sometimes a form on a heavy day. I’m bedridden. I barely have energy to do basics so sometimes I have to choose between eating & doing admin. This doesn’t include life admin like ordering food!)

Yes I keep posting that I can pay part of the rent as well as pay them for being my carer, so that’s roughly the same I think.There’s government help but people really don’t want anything to do with government agencies here so maybe that’s the problem.

I’m not sure if there is a platform for this in Australia. If anyone knows, let me know please.

I don’t understand why people in other countries offer help but barely any from #Australia. Especially #Melbourne.The sicker you get & more help you need the more people feel sad & switch you off &put you on the pile as “not my problem” or “someone else will do it”
No they won’t.

#Abusers are #abusing.

I am so weak and hungry cannot think.

I tried so hard to get out of here but I can’t get away. I tried so hard be they worse when I am very sick and can’t fight back. 😭 They promised to help during tough week. Instead screamed at denied rest and food.

I’ll be dead by year is out if this continues.

Do these cooler type things work at all? I have to survive another upcoming heatwave and can’t regulate my body temperature (#dysautonomia) so am risking heatstroke again.

Just humidity machines? (Humidity makes thinks even worse).
