Not really. The guy who saw the shooter also said that nobody, including him, could see the shooter clearly as he was climbing up the other side of the roof. What the guy mostly saw was the rifle (that was slung on the shooter’s back) wiggling back and forth as the shooter crawled up the roof to the peak.
