Obsidian with the Excalidraw plug-in is very good, as you can also integrate non-handwritten notes, convert handwriting to text etc. !

Using it on a somewhat old Microsoft surface laptop, and it's been really great. I really like nix for packages, but nixos got very, very cool when I was able to switch DE by changing two lines in the configuration file and everything just worked. I live in the EU and I even wish for a bit more aggressiveness regarding laws like this. It's a very slow moving machine, but I feel like it does have the ability to create change.
