A 16th century spiral staircase in an artisan's house, several floors high, with its central pole carved out of an oak tree which grew there & around which the house was built. The trunk is still visible at the bottom of the pole.

I'm never leaving this place ❤️

We'll meet online, say once a month, to discuss (pre-circulated) work, exchange ideas, share advice, and give feedback. Participants can submit, for instance, a draft of a dissertation chapter or journal article, a grant proposal, a conference paper, a syllabus, or hold a mock-job talk. 2/2
