We should have something like federated communities

Communities on different instances about the same topic should have the option to essentially federate so a post on one appears on all of them and opening any of them shows you the comments from all of them. This way when lemmy.world is down its not a big deal because posting to any news community federates to all of the...

lemmy.world had a DDOS in the past 24 hours, Lemmy.ml was showing problem, but now it is entirely unreachable. lemmy.world was showing “Error!” page (server still reachable), but that seems to have only lasted for a hour or so.

and that somehow Google acting like it does is like some fluke or one bad apple or something, rather than Google acting in ways very normal and common to corporations
