Is a pretty good game but is quite short. I didn’t play the new game mode release some weeks ago but looks like the developer is still pushing new things to the game so is a great value/fun ratio.

Seriously this was very surprising. I’ve been experimenting with GrayJay since it was announced and I largely think it’s a pretty sweet app. I know there are concerns over how it isn’t “true open source” but it’s a hell of a lot more open than ReVanced. Plus, I like the general design and philosophy of the app....

I agree with you but Linux or any OS won’t make miracles. Some older hardware is so bad(even when was new) that is not suited for something like games. We need to be realistic too.

Exists projects similar to The sims that maybe can take the monopoly of this genre, just to show how absurd The Sims is: if you sum all stupid DLC and expansions you probably can buy all current consoles for that money. Not everything actually requires a GUI, obviously. But anything that requires configuration, especially for controlling a hardware device, should have a fully functional GUI. I know Linux is all about being in control, and users should not be afraid to use the command line, but if you have to learn another bespoke command syntax...

Is really just:

  1. Install any Linux Distro
  2. See if you have the drivers for your hardware already installed
  3. Install Steam
  4. Change the setting for Enable Steam Play on Steam
  5. Download the game and play it.

Of course, like in windows, something could go wrong and you need to tinker a little bit to fix it but for the vast majority is just like that.

Man some time ago I had to install Win 11 on a laptop for my relative and nothing that I tried worked. I give up for a time and installed Zorin OS just to see how the distro looks like and of course no problems during installation. Later I tried again the Win 11 and the Zorin installation fixed whatever problem windows had with the driver.

For Raids Shadow Legends, NordVPN or things like that I don’t think you need to be too big, I see some videos of channels around 50k with sponsors.

Below that number of subscribers the channel doesn’t get much of ad revenue anyway, most of the money goes to google anyway.

The PVE bundle for a few missions costing about the same of what I paid for the entire ow1 is just insulting. For what I understand they’ll release multiples PVE bundles for 15$. The entire ow2 is only a money grab machine.
