Does anyone have experiences with hiring someone to help clean and declutter their home? Especially the @actuallyautistic folx, im just struggling with overwhelm and motivation trying to take small bites of what feels like a mountain.

What's that process like, what can I expect help with vs what I'll need to take care of first or after?
I grew up in a home that asking for help with this stuff was never done and heaven forbid someone sees your messy home, so also unpacking a lot of shame around asking for help 🥲

@Crazypedia @actuallyautistic I've had to help in cleaning a bipolar friends house, they had pretty bad hoarding tendencies. Their Spouse had to help because they wanted to keep everything.
