There ya go :-)

RandomLegend OP ,

I have no idea, but in reality they were a bit more orange

Central Germany

Around 5-6mm diameter

RandomLegend OP ,

Here in germany the snow will probably come back in April ❄️

RandomLegend OP ,

Thank you very much!

RandomLegend OP ,

Thank you!

Btw this was rougly 0,5s away from my dog yanking the leash full speed because he wanted to get a bird!

So good timing i guess

RandomLegend OP ,

purely from the phone

All i did in post was add the vignette and adjust the colors a little bit. The S23 Ultra takes some phenomenal photos and the bokeh is amazing

This is another example of the awesome bokeh of this phone

RandomLegend ,

So this is the kind of stuff i see when sorting by All + New

RandomLegend ,

My position is still called sysadmin shrugs

RandomLegend ,

Straight to hell. To the boiler room of hell. All the way down.

RandomLegend ,

What foldable are you using?

And how easy/hard was it to geht Linux running on it?

RandomLegend ,

Awesome thanks!

RandomLegend ,

Yup, that’s what they said aswell.

Cool thing!

RandomLegend ,

Maybe there is a driver available in C++ instead?

okay imma head outa here

RandomLegend ,

Admin of lemmy.dbzer0.com here and yeah i can confirm it’s from instances with open registration. Also most of them are smaller instances that aren’t that well maintained and will probably feel the consequence by being blocked by other instances…

And kbin.social 🤦

RandomLegend ,

12,363 and counting for us lol… it’s stressful sometimes but i am super happy with our community. Most reports actually are about others content interestingly enough

RandomLegend ,

No offense to our brothers and sisters in the fediverse, but kbin.social surely has a lot of spam coming out… it’s a very popular instance and that attracts a lot of dickheads.

Trying to run stable diffusion with AMD GPU...Do I need private drivers?

Hi guys! I have a Desktop with Nobara, and open source mesa drivers for my 7800XT. When I try to run the webui.sh launcher, I get a segfault when trying to create the model. Is there a way to run it with open source drivers? Or without having to uninstall them? Can both privative and open source drivers coexist? This is mostly...

RandomLegend ,

You gotta be more precise with everything you just wrote.

  1. trying to run the webui.sh launcher? I assume you mean the webui from automatic1111 ? there are many different stable diffusion webui’s out there so you gotta tell us what exactly you use.
  2. Private and Public drivers? What exactly do you mean with that?
  3. If asking for technical help - always always attach as many logs as you can. In this case, attach the console output you get when trying to launch webui.sh

We need infos to help you.

RandomLegend ,

Alright okay i found several issues with the same pattern as yours

github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/…/14856

github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/…/14763

github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/…/13822

check their comments and see if any of this applies to you aswell i guess?

RandomLegend ,

Just don’t immediately sell out as soon as you become successful as a game studio…

RandomLegend OP ,

Yeah according to the other comments i’ll go with immich as the main photo storage and just sync them over to nextcloud via external storage connection.

Thanks!

RandomLegend ,

i heavily rely on CUDA for many things i do on my personal computer. If this establishes itself as a reliable method to use all the funky CUDA stuff on AMD cards, my next card will 100% be AMD.

RandomLegend ,

How about you let that bad boy soak in some IPA for a couple of days? xD

RandomLegend ,

This just doesn’t make sense.

You wouldn’t say the same when talking about other products. If you buy ibuprofen for example you wouldn’t say “it can’t be packaged to scientific standards, it has to be packaged to ours” if you try to weigh a single pill with your kitchen scale.

Stuff HAS to be packaged to scientific standards. Period.

If your tools at home aren’t accurate enough or simply aren’t properly calibrated for a specific job, it can’t be the fault of the producer.

If you use a 2€ kitchen scale that is 10 years old you can’t blame the producer if your measurement is off by 10%.

The producer cannot make sure YOUR equipment is proper for the task, and they can’t make sure EVERYONES scales see the exact same. So of course they have to weigh with their own scales and surprise surprise they use extremely precise scales that are properly calibrated and tested regularly.

On the other hand articles get made about some EA CEO asshole, some Activision CEO Asshole or some other big gaming coorp CEO asshole…

Ngl, i much prefer to read about people that actually deserve respect instead of some greedy CEO that never touched a gamepad in their life but pretends to understand what gamers want.

So, if i can chose between Larian commenting on Palworld, or Activision Blizzard commenting on Palword, i chose Larian every time.

RandomLegend ,

I’m perfectly happy with lutris and it does everything I want it to do.

After configuring everything there I just import them into cartridges for a minimalistic launcher

RandomLegend ,

I don’t believe that even without DRM the game would’ve been pirated that much… i mean people usually pirate games they actually want to play lmao.

But let’s see how long it takes the industry to realize that games like bg3 and palworlds, that don’t have any DRM, are still money making machines… hmmm

RandomLegend ,

Fuck preorders, no one should preorder anything

RandomLegend ,

Can embracer just finally fuck off for good please?

Streaming games using Sunshine (the gamestream implementation) now works a lot better on nVidia/wayland (github.com)

Yes, yes, I know, buy AMD, but I already have nVvdia to use CUDA, but this new patch on the nightly branch (on arch, you can use sunshine-git but with my patch here: aur.archlinux.org/packages/sunshine-git) finally makes it so that I don’t have to “dual boot” into X11 to get game streaming at full performance....

RandomLegend ,

i.imgur.com/stD3glj.png

I’m getting the error people posted on the AUR about this. How can i implement your patch? I never modified some AUR package

RandomLegend ,

hm interesting. I also use yay but i don’t get a yay folder in my .cache dir after the failed installation

RandomLegend ,

Nice find, i install it right now and compare it to fancontrol-gui

fancontrol-gui is nice and all… but it’s annoying sometimes and it doesn’t automatically recognize my NVidia GPU.

RandomLegend ,

Yup it immediately picked up my Nvidia GPU and let me handle it’s temp curves and case - fans based on it like a charm.

Just uninstalled fancontrol-gui and gotta keep this one^^

I’m on a sff case and the GPU is often times the most hot thing in this so i need to control my case fans based on the Nvidia temp instead of CPU temp or something else.

RandomLegend OP ,

Got it, thanks!

RandomLegend OP ,

yeah but i don’t want to run it as a direct application.

My server is run entirely via docker and i want all my hosted stuff to be docker. And their docker setup requires a lot of manual setup, building your own image and all of that…

i will go for games-on-whales.github.io/gow/running.html

RandomLegend OP ,

As of this moment, it is broken though as they rebuild the project to use wolf instead of sunshine.

But the maintainer says they will be releasing in a few days; I talked to them and they helped me spin up the development version and that works really good! (still missing controller passthrough though :D)

RandomLegend ,

NVidia RTX3070 here - absolutely no issues with Hyprland. Installed it like you would on any other system and i’m good to go.

Only thing i miss is just as @Johanno mentioned, i can’t use Green With Envy. Don’t need it though.

But NVidia isn’t a barrier for wayland anymore.

RandomLegend ,

I installed Garuda-Hyprland on my RTX3070 last week.

And i have literally zero issues. Might go into detail what exactly you had issues with?

RandomLegend ,

And that’s a totally valid approach. I didn’t want to push anyone into Wayland, i’ve dragged my X11 setup with me for as long as i wanted. I just wanted to show that NVidia is not the barrier anymore.
