I don’t see how that is the Yuzo teams problem though, it’s the same argument people use with firearms, just because the emulator can be used to emulate contribute piracy doesn’t mean that it was made with the intent to. How would you recommend the Yuzo team actively block non-released games/restrict it down to only legal use? They used the telemetry data that they recieved to better improve their own platform, honestly it doesn’t really matter what that data is. The issue is fully at the user who used the tool illegally, not the developers of the tool.

God I hate current copyright law, in my opinion they need to do seething similar to the legal systems “when acting as an official” law and just have them exempt from copyright/privacy suits. This happens with every emulator and it’s generally used as a scare tactic to make the devs close shop.

Kroger has promised to invest $500 million to lower prices as soon as the deal closes.

Kroger made 1.8 billion last year after expenses, so investing 500 million is a good gesture of faith but, I think that it should be required to be repeated yearly if they wish to make it as a condition of the merger, 500 million while likely wouldn’t do much prices wise, wouldn’t even be helpful if they aren’t doing it past the first year anyway

I use partial disk encryption myself using luksCrypt but without the auto unlock, your comment on the crackhead stealing it doesn’t help you in that scenario, you 1000% can tie a partition encryption or home directory encryption and have it automatically decrypt using either a USB drive or TPM but, as is with Windows and MacOS if your PC gets stolen, the drive will be unlocked automatically regardless if it is you, it’s only if the drive gets stolen on it’s own that an auto unlock drive would help you, but it’s not likely that only that will happen. At that point it might not be worth encrypting as a whole if that was your main concern.

No i would not, unless it was proven that said employee knew the person was an S.O and knew that the account was a minor (but at that point the employee should have disabled the account per Snapchats policy regardless). If that data was not available to them, then they wouldn’t have the capability to know so I would concider it not at fault.

It urks me if this is the go to for credit institutions to “help” the borrowers out, all that’s going to do is either cause more debt (i.e interest) or not change a thing. The debt hole is the entire problem, making it deeper just makes it worse.

I’m failing to see how it’s snapchats problem, it can’t know that the person was nefarious, and it’s not reasonable to expect that it should have been able to know. This is like saying that Disney should be held responsible because someone decided to go on a killing spree while using the recommended costume of the week. It’s two isolated events that happens to coencide with eachother.

this is a failure on the parents side all the way down, from the lack of supervision to the allowance of making a social media account below the legal age to do so.

I don’t visit the comments often, so I can see what you mean cuz a lot of times they can be quite toxic. But I think choosing between having them or not having them, I would choose having them just for the ones that do like the system, cuz I can just easily ignore the comments section. I also felt the same way with the dislike button though and you see what they did with that lmao

I have a window of perfection. If I sleep less the 4 hours I’m dead tired in the morning, if I sleep more then 7 hours I am dead in the morning, but for some reason if I get 5, 6 or 7 I’ll be up and at em no issue at all
