Title seems to suggest that Alma Linux is somehow not free software, which is not justified at all by the article. Unless they are trying to say RHEL is free of charge? Which is also not true or mentioned in the text.

PelagiusSeptim ,

Source on that? Not saying I don’t believe you, but an article on the topic would help us know what behavior we’re talking about here.

PelagiusSeptim ,

Why would you use dwm for floating windows?

PelagiusSeptim ,

Last paragraph makes no sense in the summary.

The person who runs the bot might.

PelagiusSeptim ,

No, I’m not sure either. I’d rather they get a reply if they do check them tho. Before I commented it had nothing but upvotes.

PelagiusSeptim ,

It’s a joke. You don’t have to use it, most won’t because it’s a joke, the real update here is steam workshop support.

Grisham, Martin join authors suing OpenAI: “There is nothing fair about this” (arstechnica.com)

Yesterday, popular authors including John Grisham, Jonathan Franzen, George R.R. Martin, Jodi Picoult, and George Saunders joined the Authors Guild in suing OpenAI, alleging that training the company’s large language models (LLMs) used to power AI tools like ChatGPT on pirated versions of their books violates copyright laws...

If he wrote another book, that would probably just get fed right into the training data like the rest of them, so he would have the same problem he has now.

Mike flanagan always does great work, but you should temper your expectations for how much of an “adaptation” this will be. Elements of the story will be present for sure but flanagan tends to take a pretty transformative approach to the works he adapts for his shows. Haunting of Hill House is thematically similar in some ways to the novel it’s based on, but shares few narrative similarities.

PelagiusSeptim ,

That’s the tv series referred to in the title.

PelagiusSeptim ,

It’s not referring to viewers in the title though, it’s talking about the streaming services

PelagiusSeptim ,

I don’t think this is correct, at least for American editions. I’ve only seen full versions available, in both hardback and paperback

PelagiusSeptim ,

Good to know. Too many extra U’s when they typed color I suppose

PelagiusSeptim ,

I use tree style tabs extension, it serves that purpose pretty well
