It’s 20 years after the war with Voldemort, and Auror Harry J. Potter is up against a new enemy, bringing him back to Hogwarts. He must now fight tooth and nail to keep those transwizards out of the girl’s bathrooms.

Muggles transitioning to wizards thanks to scientific advances are probably the worst nightmare of the purebloods. The orogin story of that could make an interesting movie/serie.

CeruleanRuin ,

Ron Weasley’s dad was definitely involved somehow.

Accidentally discovered a method of converting muggles to wizards and now there’s a debate raging over where it’s ethical or even safe to introduce such a thing to the world.

I just… they only finished just over a decade ago. There’s no need to remake them yet. Someday sure, but it’s way too soon. I get Hollywood is just plain out of ideas but come on. I loved the movies, the casting is some of the best I’ve ever seen, I just plain don’t want this.

I disagree actually. I think with a series they can actually flesh out the stories and characters more. The movies were missing so much stuff.

Sure, but maybe 10 years from now.

Where was a remake mentioned?

PelagiusSeptim ,

That’s the tv series referred to in the title.

CeruleanRuin ,

Is it really a remake? What a failure of imagination. Say what you will about J.K.'s shitty personality, but the world she put together is big enough to fit all sorts of stories into it. They could tell a new one, or a bunch of new ones. Why rehash what was already done so successfully?

Oh thank god. Keep him far away. I understand the vision he went with (which was more introduced by Cuarón than anything) but I really didn’t appreciate missing key scenes from the books, poorly executing the Hallows and the final battle, and how poor duels were. The only time there was some creativity was Dumbledore vs Voldemort in OoTP. Outside of that it was who can push harder with their wand.

There wasn’t much real “magic” in the last few movies.

What’s the problem with the hallows?
