Ah, and now I’m reminded of YikYak.

Hyper-local time-sensitive social media that ended after it became used for mostly pranking and bullying.

For a little while there though, it was a pretty cool.

My guess this whole time is that investors want to 1) capture the Facebook/boomer/Candy Crush crowd and 2) let anyone (foreign entities) pay to peddle influence whether political or otherwise.

Pump and dump.
