Why does the punishment involve taking away all of the treasure which would include portions belonging to the two blind maiders when they were surely victims of the half- b&w maiden's deceit as well? Why are the two blind maidens also bound to the same site for eternity? Where's the justice?

@lbheuschkel @juergen_hubert @germany @folklore It's pretty much the same in South East Asia - Got a malicious spirit? Seal it up in a bottle or some other small vessel. Ritually "fence it" in deep, deep within the forest. Things are fine for a generation or two -- until some greedy property developer, logger or miner destroys the ritual bindings. Plot for a perfect "Nature bites back" horror story.
