Gentle reminder to everyone that support for #windows10 ends in about 90 weeks. Many computers can't upgrade to Win 11 so here are your options:

1. Continue on Win 10 but with higher security risks.
2. Buy new and expensive hardware that supports Win11.
3. Try a beginner friendly #Linux distro like #linuxmint. It only takes about two months to acclimate.

Hardware that cannot support windows 11 is likely near the end of its useable life right now, so in two years people might be justified in considering buying a new and actually functional computer.

and in 2 years they will be even less capable. like someone else in this thread pointed out—the op was very baity. I know this is a linux community but trying to scare people into adopting seems weird.

Andor is probably the best thing to come of Disney Star Wars. If that quality persists I am very excited. If that quality does not persist still a win: more Star Trek.

I just hope whatever form it takes we lose the bizarrely shoehorned-in fictional culture of having a “number one” (literally only Picard used that nickname for Riker back in the day) and the equally annoying and cringey creation of the captain of the ship having a “go to warp” catchphrase.
