True. I reckon the themes which did it had other issues, namely they changed system settings to Mac/Windows specific stuff and I don’t want to manually set stuff up, because then it’s time consuming when I jump themes again. I went through that nightmare on Android and I’m not doing it again.

I’m trying it right now. It’s very nice. I wish it had a custom Firefox icon. I like what “iDark” does, but it has white circle background for all icons which I hate. :(

It is really shit and hard to find for many projects.

Often we say infinite growth (capitalism) is not sustainable and reasonable. Can we also say infinite progressivism is also not sustainable and reasonable?

This question is social/political, and meant to trigger a nice debate on the negatives of imbalanced infinite progressivism we seem to be heading in social and technological spheres, ignoring science, practicality and reason....

I honestly genuinely wish social values and economic values wouldn’t be so inseparable for some people. Social issues can be worked on long term. By denying less than perfect people access into communism spaces, communism suffers. I am gay and intersex. I experienced shit from both right wing and left wing people. I’d rather have someone who is currently socially backwards (such people can and frequently do grow as a person over time) who supports communism rather than have said person being pushed away from communism, because they aren’t as socially progressive as someone demands them to be. The vast majority of population aren’t. Sorry for tinfoil, but sometimes I feel like people who require very rigid social views to just exist within communist spaces are a mole set up to dismantle communism from within.

Most if not all trans people I met are themselves displaying traditional gender roles, so I don’t get why people use a strawman of trans people being against gender roles. Many trans people find gender roles validating. Unless you think they break gender roles because you don’t see them as their gender, but rather as very gender nonconforming people of their birth sex, then I see why’d you receive negative pushback. I myself don’t get gender at all, and I’m still not understanding if it means I’m agender or else.

Do you often hear the ringing of switching power supplies and devices when you are in a quiet space?

I’m curious, how many people are aware of these sounds. I have designed, etched, and built my own switching power supplies along with winding my own transformers. I am aware of the source of the noise. So, does anyone else hear these high frequency sounds regularly?

ZorinOS was my first. I highly recommend it to people who want a GUI and a good looking distro.

openSUSE Tumbleweed if you want super up to date with GUI.

Fedora sucks imo. I know many people love it, but I always had issues with it and had to look stuff up online, which I never had to do with other distros.

EndeavourOS ended my distro hopping. I just don’t need anything. It’s perfect for me.

Don’t yield to sexists who think you have to be a certain way just because of your sex characteristics. Being a man solely means you’ve a male anatomy. Masculinity and femininity are social constructs which ever change and ever differ based on subjective perception and what not, with no actual value or benefit to anyone’s life. You are perfect the way you are and the way you act is acting like yourself, which is perfect for you, even if it’s not the standard for the average man. ^ ^

Thank you for sharing. I’ve never worked in mobile games but I work in regular game dev and I’m very tired of people being very vocally incorrect (especially if they’re unwilling to change their preconceived notion because they decided it sounds too logical not to be true) about how the industry works.
