But it doesn’t mean you can’t believe in superpowers. You can.

But you CAN believe that life is incredibly hard without help too.

Any the balance of disability vs a benefit will be different for every autistic. For those whose autistic obsession has allowed them to be successful its probably seen a lot more as a good thing than someone who its been endless struggles with no successes, for example. But even those who its enabled them to be a success can have experienced the disability side of it too.

As many of you here, and as all of you who have met or worked with me, know, I am an Israeli.

I’m also a life long peace activist for Israel-Palestine.

Unfortunately, MANY of you have taken the last few days to attack me, call me a murderer, lecture me about the world I grew up and lived in for 35+ years of my life, dare to speak down to me and over me, erase my history and lifelong dedication for Palestinian rights, and even wished me to die.

Others of you have taken the opportunity to call me an antisemite, a race traitor, a horrible person, a hypocrite, a terrorist, and erase my history and lifelong dedication to Jewish life and making Israel a better place to live.

Yet, VERY FEW of you have asked how I am. How is my family? How are my friends? How are YOU?

Well, no. I have my family & friends in deep crisis. Many have lost their own other family and friends, parents, siblings, kids and lovers - some by bullets, others by fire, others by kidnapping. A comrade of mine lost his parents. An other had their 16 year old son taken into Gaza. Too many people I know or am connected to have been murdered or taken. And I use the word murder, not killed, because sleeping civilians in their home or at a party are not military combattants. Babies aren’t targets.

I also have Palestinian friends who have lost families in Gaza from the bombs currently falling from IDF planes. My heart aches for them too as theirs does for me.

But many of you only care about death when one side fits your own narrative and unformed and ignorant beliefs.

So no, I’m not OK. I’m not OK at all.

Innocent civilians on both sides are paying the price for Hamas's and the Israeli Govt's actions. I heard on the news this morning Israel bombed near the Egyptian border of Gaza so Egypt closed that border. Israel aren't allowing food in & are bombing civilian infrastructure including homes. Isreali govt claims Palestinians can move away from the bombing & its the civilians' fault if they get bombed asa result but move where? They're trapped. 1/2

Basically to wipe out Hamas they are going to wipe out Gaza and anyone living there. Its genocide. A totally unproportionate response to Hamas' actions. And a totally abhorrent response.

I was against the Iraq War too. Also there is no way out of Gaza. The borders are closed. On the news they are saying there is no safe space. Even UN schools are being bombed. The Israelis bombed the border with Egypt so Eygpt closed it. I don't claim to be a law expert etc or represent any organisation so my statements are only statements of what I believe.

That or they expect you to be able to stop acting autistic when its pointed out you're acting autistic. Alternatively they assume you'll match their stereotype of an autistic which can be a type of robot with no emotions or understanding of them or you're someone with little or no brains (even someone with severe learning difficulties is more intelligent).

My memory is like a series of boxes. When in one box I often forget what is in a different box. I can remember events as if re-experiencing them often. I can't create that level of detail from being told about an event. Not even close.

The subs situation is a source of anxiety for me but I wouldn't have been able to get round a supermarket for years & now the wheelchair takes up the shopping space so it really isn't an option for more than a small top up shop.

My kids are young adults now but my twins can't be left home alone & need someone to supervise them if they wait outside due to being unable to cope with the noise etc inside the shop due to how their Autism & ADHD affects them. I also need one of them to help me due to my osteoarthritis including getting the wheelchair in & out of the car.
