A. The crew is largely innocent, even if they should refuse to fly you around this way, like a jet is a taxi.

B. It is possible to survive such an incident.

A few months ago I saw that @neilhimself (and some friends of mine) was coming to . I got tickets fully intending to read books by authors attending. Then I bought a new apartment and moved. Constant work for three months now. Today I went to get my armband and felt guilty that I have read nothing.

BTW. Every time I am around tourists in Iceland I have the urge to tell them about my podcast. I could just wear a shirts all the time but that feels a bit vain.

Today's image was from Giovanni Sercambi’s chronicle of his hometown of Lucca. This image reflects an experience of the Second Plague Pandemic. It provided an entry into discussing limits of sources, as opposed to their biases. Sercambi's illustration tells us how people thought of plague, but not how plague spread.

There is a line of code in two dynamic_popups files that must be changed:

  • Line 52 of dynamic_popups_pro.css
  • Line 66 of dynamic_popups_pro_max.css

This:

        --panel-background: none !important;

should be this:

        /* Fenix color: */

This is needed because setting the --panel-background to none negatively affected the extension/addon download and install popups.

Ik dacht altijd dat ‘you’ in het Engels hetzelfde is als ‘jij’, maar nu lees ik (in een boek van Lydia Rood) dat dat vroeger juist de beleefdheidsvorm was naast ‘thou’, dat is verdwenen, behalve in het Schotse dialect.
