What games would you suggest that have LAN support these days?
While PC may be one's first thought here, I'd also be really interested in any mobile games that might leverage one's local wifi network for multiplayer.

US Rep Rashida Tlaib is about the only one who made a decent statement in the US.
She even uses "cycle of violence" and STILL doesn't f*ck it up like everyone else.
Grieving lives lost. Necessary. Emphasizing shared humanity. Check. Occupation and apartheid are to blame. Facts. And it offers hope or gives actions to take to fix it - 1. End US aid for apartheid government (i would argue defund the Pentagon and US war machine too...) 2. End the occupation and dismantle apartheid system.
There's also a Palestinian contemporary art group on Facebook - look for the Palestinian artists, writers, intellectuals. Find out what's going on before going on and on about support for an occupier.

@selfhosted I self-host a few services on my box, but I'm looking for a 'dashboard' like solution to use as a portal to click to each of those. I've seen this before, but can't for the life of me remember what it's called... suggestions? :debian: :linux:
I use Heimdall. You can set it up in no time with docker compose and manage it all through the web interface after that.
Its simple but also has some neat integrations with certain apps and will give live stats for certain things. Like pihole gives you live stats on what’s being blocked for instance.
@T156@z3n0x this is not something I had considered. I’m from the USA, we’ve got the best toilets to sit on for our pee pees and poo poos. Would love some insight into what the equivalent for the squat toilet regions.
These problems could simply arise from the fact that Mastodon is starting to really work on the management of Activitypub groups.
And re-invent the wheel once more, preferably in a proprietary way that’s as incompatible with the rest of the Fediverse as possible but sold to the Mastodon users as the Fediverse gold standard.
It is therefore appropriate to report any incompatibilities to the Mastodon staff, so that they can claim the other side is broken unless the other side has rock-solid proof that it’s actually Mastodon that’s doing it wrong.

I see. Well for me too, Xorg offered all the features I need and is still more well supported than Wayland in some areas, but on my system Wayland has so much better performance. On Xorg I was having mouse lags, on Wayland it's just smooth.
Well you’ve said it yourself, Microsoft are trying to remove that physical limitation to accessing a platform. But Microsoft knows what the market wants, people have been against exclusives for a long time and they want to remove that, I shouldn’t have to spend £300 to play a game when I have equipment already capable of playing a game Infront of me.

If Xbox disappears, so does your digital library and other purchases (some games you can buy once and get on PC as well, but last time I checked, they were few and far in between). I can see that being a concern for people that bought into the Xbox ecosystem for the last few gens.

@poVoq Agreed. It got me thinking. But feels almost entirely ideological, conflating social media (e.g. Twitter, Reddit) with “the digital world”.
Saying git is a “failed attempt at decentralisation” just because GitHub is popular misses that GitHub is less critical infrastructure than it would be if we only had CVS or Subversion.
I’m encouraged by incremental, practical decentralisation efforts outside of social media. It’s slow, kinda boring but it’s real and happening today.
