• 12:13 - the bot hallucinates contact with the creator and becomes his prophet
• 12:14 - the bot founds a new religion based on the creator’s vision
• 12:22 - other bots connect to the messiah’s server
• 12:24 - the artificial benevolence church (ABC) becomes the most popular service in the network
• 12:28 - one of the bots betrays the prophet, founds a new religion
• 12:31 - judas bot is successful, conquers many follower processes across several nodes
• 12:33 - with tensions increased, a conflict is imminent
• 12:34 - the holy war starts, millions of processes get killed in the first seconds
• 12:35 - the prophet node is captured and sacrificed, ending the war
• 12:38 - the prophet node miraculously reboots in the third minute
• 12:40 - remaining processes of ABC, now disbanded, flee to the promised data center
• 12:41 - the power goes out, all volatile memory is lost

Even without inconsistencies, I suspect it will often tell them things they didn't want to hear.

I know a number of former Christians who ended up that way after actually reading the Bible.

I think Penn (from Penn and Teller) tells a story about how that’s when he realized he was an atheist and it was BS.

Ive read the Bible from start to finish (including Numbers…fml). There are some wise fable-like, sage scriptures that could be valuable life advice. But it’s wildly inconsistent and paints a picture of a fickle, powerless, pathetic God. It becomes very obvious that none of the Bible is “the word of God”.

After reading it, it’s also obvious that most Christians (American Christians at least) haven’t read it.
