I have an account that was used for very limited streaming to a couple of artists. Spotify placed it at Estonia for some reason. None of the artists I listened to are even close to the general area.

It’s not based on the artist’s locations, but where the listeners for the artists are.

Oh ok. Either way, I don’t think any of my top artists has a lot of fans there. lol. But if spotify says so, then so be it.

Edit: I use that account to test music from artists that I manage the distribution for. So I can literally see the demographics of listeners from the distribution platform and Estonia is not even in the top 20 of countries where listeners come from.

    I got Seattle which is great because I already live in the PNW. Apparently I’ve already found my people. My wife got Oslo, Norway after listening to a bunch of pop and Spanish music.
