Every PC I’ve ever used automatically detects and adjusts resolution to the display you connect to it. Even Nintendo Switch will detect when it’s docked and automatically adjust the display resolution. But on Steam Deck you literally have to adjust the display resolution for every game, every time you switch displays....
Love the SteamDeck and looking for some good Multiplayer games that feel right on the SD. I find FPS games don’t translate well for me with the keyboard -> controller style jump. So far love Diablo 4 when it comes to MP.
In gaming mode on the Steam Deck the CPU is presented to the games as having 8 cores instead of 4 cores with 8 threads. This seems to increase performance for some titles....
If you are like me you want to be able to adjust your logitec/steelseries/asus (among other) mouse settings within the deck itself while in desktop mode....
Having issues when opening some flatpaks (I think only X11) in Desktop Mode, controller input stops working, I can only use touch screen. Controller starts to work after I triggers Controller Settings in Steam(still in Desktop Mode)....
