The title of the episode, of course, pretty much telegraphs which parallel universe we’re likely to have elements of this week. The Mirror Universe was a major part of Season 1 of DIS, and the Mirror Philippa Georgiou was a supporting character through the first 3 seasons....

• The arms merchant whom we see Moll and L’ak dealing with appears to be an Annari, who were introduced in the VOY episode, “Nightingale”, which I mention only because I believe it is the first time we’ve seen a member of Delta Quadrant species in DIS, though not the first mention....

The title comes from the David Bowie song “Changes” from the 1971 album Hunky Dory. The song also has the lyric “Time may change me, but I can’t trace Time.” Given the theme of this episode, it seems appropriate....

I think it is important in this moment to acknowledge that, regardless of individual opinions of quality the series – personally I am a fan, but this is not about my personal perspective – without DIS...

It is Stardate 866274.3, which places it, by TNG reckoning, in 3189. However, as I’ve noted before, this is an impossibility, since Burnham arrived in the 32nd Century in 3188, then spent a year before reuniting with Discovery (3189), then months passed between Seasons 3 and 4, and also between Seasons 4 and 5 so at a minimum...

The Star Trek Universe bumper features Discovery jumping in with her spore drive then flying off at warp....

Would make the show watchable and cut like half the time.

I saw make this assessment of picard and sisko as both characters and as captains. That if you want to prevent a war you send picard but if you want to win one you send sisko.
