The show really started to hit its stride S3 and everyone was written differently.

Came across this article, and it’s a very interesting take on how Star Trek has changed with the times, and how modern audiences seem to have a harder time trusting institutions or imagining Trek’s utopia.
I’m curious about rehabilitation. I believe crime comes from access to resources and/or from a lack of emotional education (such as empathy, patience, and sympathy)....
At turns fascinating, insightful, heartbreaking, heartwarming, infuriating and even savage, it’s certainly the most interesting ST-themed interview I’ve ever watched / listened to....
The last thing the guy that dropped this beast off was “don’t forget to keep your hands clear, that’ll sew through your bones!”...
