I want to host my website in my raspberry pi, I’ve read that I would need a web server software for this. Which one do you recommend? It won’t be a complex website.

I’ve recently been trying to degoogle myself, and in doing so I’m going to need another email. I tried ProtonMail, but apparently only business accounts can use SMTP, even though their features claim SMTP access. I’m plenty fine paying for the service, but going from the $6/month to $12/month just to get notification...

tldr is that you can hide the button that asks for payment and it says “purchase immich” instead of “purchase liscence”

Not that I use them anymore anyway, cancelling my old account, but name and shame any companies who conveniently can’t support their free base. Also - it’s VNC. It’s a protocol. There’s a dozen free clients out there.

I’m in the marked for a used 4TB for my offsite backup. As I’ve recently acquired four 12TB drives (about 10000 hours and one to two years old) for 130€ each, I was optimistic. 30 to 40€ I thought. Easy....

Ideally, there’d be a simple RPM installer compatible with Alma 9 that I can point to a samba share that holds all the photos, kind of like what I do with Jellyfin. Also nice if it uses an otherwise unused port or I can easily set what port it uses....

with the demise of ESXi, I am looking for alternatives. Currently I have PfSense virtualized on four physical NICs, a bunch of virtual ones, and it works great. Does Proxmox do this with anything like the ease of ESXi? Any other ideas?
