Lately I've been really liking the idea of having something hosted on a RISC-V machine. RISC-V is a non-proprietary instruction set that is a competitor to ARM. The idea of having a something running on an open source operating system, running on an open standard CPU, served from my house, gives me a warm fuzzy feeling....

I made this stack based on my own deployment of Lemmy, it should allow anyone to run a Lemmy stack in Compose, with LE SSL behind Traefik. I’ve tested it behind docker-compose on Windows and Ubuntu. Interested in any feedback or PRs :)

I plan to selfhost nextcloud, for now just for bookmark sync. is there a point to installing a vpn on the computer running the instance? it shouldnt matter as long as i have https right? what about if i dont have a domain? i cant have https without a domain (ill buy one later just want everything to work first). or maybe use one...
