So, couple years ago i started to learn about tech, programming and self hosting services thanks to redditors ( not reddit the evil corp ), and found lots of communities where they pointed me to good resources but then ended up allocating more time to learning programming to switch career into that field and finally got it....

I’m interested in hosting a small lemmy instance from my home and I already use proxmox for several services so figured I’d start there....

So, instead, I want to point the URL at the VPS, and then somehow route the connection to my home’s nextcloud instance...

Does anyone have any advice on hosting a server to the outside world? I intend to host a Jellyfin media server and want to be able to access it remotely.
