I have seen some users commenting on Lemmy using a Mastodon account. I tried to login Lemmy using my Mastodon account (on the web) and it didn’t work, like account not found, maybe it tries to locate the Lemmy instance account....
I’m trying to create a community on Lemmy.world but it seems to not want to let me click the create button after filling in everything, Is this a error or is it because I am new to it?

I can unsubscribe to many communities, but one: FOSS for [email protected] it tells me I’m not subcribed, but it’s in my list of communities. So I have subscribed. Reloaded the page. Unscribed. Reloaded and it’s still there? It’s only this particular community…
When looking at a post in wefwef it shows upvote downvote and then a symbol like a flag (the save icon I assume) but I click it and nothing happens. Is there a way to save a post?
What I mean is, why not just a bi-directional mirror, with several servers in the larger users goes? Can the federation API be leveraged to just do that to address the dramatic load increase? Folks firing up Lemmy servers all over that only have a tiny portion of unique content are likely to provide poor experiences and stress...
I’ve noticed that any trend or fad that I find out about months later originates on TikTok. I have no interest in using the app for a variety of reasons, but if it’s something that might actually improve how I live then I might get FOMO.
There’s a specific comment I’m trying to reply to in the lemmy.world/c/games community, agreeing with how much I love a game they mentioned. But after drafting the message, on mobile it just acts like I haven’t pressed the button. On desktop, there’s and endless loading circle....
