It’s from reddit, /r/195 and later /r/196 (and much later /r/19684) are subreddits where the only rule is if you visit, you have to post. That’s why a lot of posts have the title “rule”. It’s a general shit posting meme community that’s attracted leftists and trans folks, but that’s more from natural evolution than any specific reason.
