It’s also sad because Clinton voters still steadfastly refuse to admit she 1. promoted Donald Trump in a “pied piper” strategy because she was sure he would be easy to beat because he was a “nutjob” and they wanted to show off how Republicans were nutjobs 2. she didn’t do any campaigning in important swing states (ignoring the advice of even her own husband to do so) and 3. she technically won the election, just not the part that mattered legally, and finally 4. she was running the same year as Jeb Bush and people were tired of both Clintons and Bushes in the White House, and Trump tapped into that real social frustration with political dynasties.
