5 people were shot at Morgan State University and police have yet to locate a suspect, officials say

Five people were shot Tuesday night at Morgan State University in Baltimore and police have yet to locate a suspect as the investigation into the shooting continues, officials said.

University police heard gunshots around 9:25 p.m. local time and responded to find multiple gunshot victims on campus and saw multiple shattered windows, Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said in a media briefing.

The victims, four men and one woman aged 18 to 22, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the commissioner. Four of the victims are Morgan University students, according to Morgan State University Police Chief Lance Hatcher.

As the gun nuts usually say “good guy with gun stops bad guy with gun”.

Yet more evidence that is nonsense

Dead_or_Alive ,

Guns are usually illegal on campus. No good guy with a gun if the good guy is following the rules.

The police as well as the good guy with a gun have no obligation to protect you. If you choose to leave your safety up to the goodwill of others then that is your decision.

Thank goodness no one died! I hope they catch the bastard.

The problem here is crystal clear. It is not illegal to get shot by somebody. If getting shot would be illegal, there wouldn’t be so many victims. I mean how is it real freedom if I want to shoot in a mall or university and then these woke people steal my flying bullets with their bodies. That is not what God intended when He gave us guns. /s
