That’s high but it’s not “we can convert these lightless offices into housing with no light and ventilation” high.
We need to be building housing. Like, as much housing as possible. Market rate is great. Just keep building it market rate as quick as we can and we’ll start putting pressure down on the cheap housing displacement.
And I’m not saying “we” to only mean NYC. The entire fucking US needs to get on this.
