To be fair, you probably witnessed Mormons outside of their Mecca of Utah. It’s insane here in utah. My lovely girlfriend used to be mormon, got married in the temple and everything. The stories she tells me makes me want to vomit. She was raped by one of the men in her “ward” and the first thing the bishop asked was “what were you wearing?” It got even worse but the story ends with the bishop covering up for this young man and nothing ever happening. She was raped and nothing happened. Fuck the Mormon cult.
