When the gymnastics star is at her best, as she was on Sunday night while winning her record eighth U.S. championship, she feels like she’s in a “fever dream.” It’s not autopilot exactly. It’s more of a vibe. A flow.

I remember seeing her at the 2016 Olympics in Rio thinking she’s going to dominate this thing so hard the coming years. It’s so sad her career and personal life have been derailed because of some predator. Amazing to see she’s doing better!
