Yes you are very detached from reality if you believe mass shootings are a real threat to everyday life in your average college town. Is it tragedy how many happen? Yes. Should we do what we can to decrease how many there are? Also yes. But it’s dishonest to claim it’s something to be worried about in everyday life.
