Texas A&M settles with Dr. Kathleen McElroy for $1 million after botched hiring

Texas A&M has agreed to pay Dr. Kathleen McElroy $1 million following a botched attempt to hire her to direct its journalism school. News of the settlement comes days after A&M's board of regents selected a new interim president and agreed to pursue a settlement with McElroy during a special closed session on Sunday.
