What happened to Noah Bush? Chilling admission by juvenile reveals how 8-year-old Jesup boy died

The mystery surrounding the death of Noah Bush, an 8-year-old who drowned in a borrow pit on the northern side of Wayne County, is now cleared. But the Bush family still fights for justice, not feeling satisfied with the outcome.

On May 15, Noah Bush went missing after he and two other boys, an 11-year-old and a 10-year-old, went to a restricted zone within Wayne County filled with borrow pits. Once his mother, Demetrice Bush, realized Noah was missing, she kicked off an overnight search for the boy involving many residents within Jesup, including the two boys and their parents.

The next day, Noah Bush was found dead in one of those borrow pits. Wayne County Sheriff Chuck Moseley originally said his death involved “no foul play.”

In July, after the Bush family hired the Davis Bozeman Johnson Law Group to privately investigate Noah’s death, the Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney found probable cause and suggested the 10-year-old and 11-year-old were involved in Noah’s death.
