IIRC Covid was the leading cause of death for cops nationwide for 2020, 2021, and (less sure) 2022. One of the groups that fought hardest against wearing masks. If challenged I will dig up a link but I don’t think it should be very hard to find.
One would have thought they’d take covid at least as seriously as elderly dementia patients who confusedly started to leave with mechandise they then returned, but nah.
