Dear marketing executive, this is not how you do marketing.

You are posting on a forum for news and events around the globe, your ad is not news.

This will be downvoted and at best ignored, at worst it will discourage people from doibg buiness with you.

If you want to do effective marketing and build goodwill, take one hour a day and post in relevant communities, help people with their questions for free, and if they are in your local area, suggest that they contact you for this specific issue for a free consultation, offer good advice and just be friendly/personable.

Do not put a generic marketing guy in charge of this account, make sure they are experienced in company’s area of expertise, and know how to be positive.

This will pay off if you are smart about it.

The current scattershot ad hit me, all the way over in Sweden, you may be brilliant at what you do, but I am not going to call you when building my future summer mansion on Utö.
