A man is in a serious condition after being attacked in a suspected hate crime in Belfast, police have said, as others were arrested and charged with race-related offences for the first time since the riots began in England and Northern Ireland last week.

It’s not clear to me what races were involved with this. Is it English vs Irish again?

It’s racist Brits vs brown people. A lot of anti-migrant hate has been brewing there and has spilled over in recent days.

I’m just speculating that that’s what this particular case is about.
