ALL of the tentative happiness about Harris maybe being a stronger candidate than Biden was, is coming from people who were either neutral or defending Biden before. The people who were giving a firehose of criticism to Biden and demanding that it was MANDATORY for him to step down have, for the good of the Democrats and the country, have for the most part fallen silent, and a whole new grouping has arisen to give criticism to Harris and say that as good progressives they could never vote for a cop.
