What’s left to support? The project was to make a plan and recruit people. The plan is made. The people are recruited.

To whatever extent they implement the plan, they don’t have to fess up to following the principles, research, or scenarios detailed in it.

It’s probably better for them to claim it’s an original thought anyway, regardless of the toxicity of the associated name.
