It’s not justification, it’s a reason?

Justification:

the action of showing something to be right or reasonable.

Reason:

a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event.

Reasonable

based on good sense.

Edit: I’d like to document here (for myself mostly) how simply posting an article critical of Hamas’ actions is considered by members of this community as justifying violence.
