2002-2003 Infiniti QX4

In total, 83,920 Nissan vehicles are affected by the notice.

The following vehicles were already listed on the NHTSA website for a Takata air bag recall prior to Nissan’s recall on Wednesday:

Are these the one’s that used ammonium nitrate in the airbag and if they got damp they’d explode like a IED when deployed? Or is that another car?

Takata made airbags for multiple car companies. I don’t know the specifics but a lot of cars had that issue

All those Altimas driving around with paper plates probably don’t have working airbags anyway. And yes, I know the Altima is not in the list.
