Never before has the presiding judge on a criminal case been appointed to the bench by the defendant. It’s unfathomable that our “justice” system has become so transparently corrupt and broken. We’re a failing democracy and what comes next is not going to be good.

That’s false. She was assigned through a randomization program. It’s standard in cases such as these. He just got lucky as fuck.
